The "First Branch" Journey
This is where Groundwork Studios began.
Learning strategy and instructional design are my foundation. Long before Groundwork had a name, I was drawn to the challenge of helping people make sense of complex ideas — and turning that clarity into learning experiences that genuinely support growth.
This work brings together everything I love: curiosity, creativity, structure, and human connection. I approach learning design not as content production, but as sense-making. I listen closely, synthesize widely, and design with care — for both learners and the systems that support them.
My background in theater and dance education, combined with a lifelong immersion in teaching through my family, made instructional design a natural home. I don’t just build courses. I shape learning experiences that are thoughtful, usable, and built to last.
This branch is the root system of Groundwork Studios — the practice that made everything else possible.
